He is survived by: his wife Candi Nicholas; his children, Chris Nicholas of Pawnee City, NE, Melissa Buessing (John) of Lincoln, NE, Tim Nicholas (Katie) of Fairport, NY, Kate Adams (Clay) of Jasper, MO, Matt Tuxhorn (Lindsay) of Syracuse, NE and Nicole Dunn (Shane) of Auburn, NE; his grandchildren, Brenner Nicholas, John, Nicole Buessing, Tyler, Brady, Caroline Nicholas, Audrey, Isaac, Raegan Adams, Aubree, Reese Tuxhorn, Tinley and Marshall Dunn; his sisters, Wanda Peckham and Norma Nicholas (Dale Shallenberger); his brothers-in-law, Chuck Apple (Roxanne) and Mike Apple (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Ollie, Stella Gyhra, Brett and Brody Seematter. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, cousins and many close friends.
