He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Peckham Neill and Everett Neill; his son Tom Neill; and his siblings, Doris Sherer (Roy), Dean Neill, Harold Neill and Kenneth Neill.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Herries; his children, John Neill (Luanne), Anne Perry and Kathy Fabry (Joel); his grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Amy, Blake, Megan, Chris and Ellie; and his great grandchildren, Evan, Amelia, Elijah, Jonah and Luke.

Memorials may go to the First United Presbyterian Church or Cottonwood Hospice in Beatrice.
