He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Meier and Helen Meier; his parents-in-law, Gustaff and Florence Buysse; and his siblings-in-law, Jim, Charlie Buysse, Diane Seidl (Buysse) and Cheri Buysse.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his sons, Dan Meier (Ashley Bear) and Chris Meier (Danielle); his grandsons, Jax and Rhett Meier; his stepgrandchildren, Grace and Jack Mettler; his siblings, John Meier (Shirley) and Mary Piatt (John); and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Olin (Bob), Larry Buysse (Bonnie), Steve Buysse and Doug Buysse.
