She was predeceased by: her mother Polly Hosfiel; her brother Terry Bomar; her former husband John Madsen; and her husband Jim Metheny. She is survived by: her sister Christina Jepson; her sons, Stacey Madsen (Madonna) and Eric Madsen (Sothea); her grandchildren, Brendan Madsen, Camden Madsen and Shelby Madsen; and her stepgrandchildren, Ashley Rea and Ryan Malcom. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
