He was predeceased by: his father Michael D. Downey; his grandmother Mildred "Marie"; his uncle Tim; his aunt Evelyn; and his nephew Seth.
He is survived by: his mother Debra A. Downey of Bellevue, NE; his wife Lisa Downey; his children, Lynzi (Hunter) of Tennessee, Aubry (Brandon) of Tennessee, Gage of Tennessee, Tyler (Amelia) of Arkansas and Riley of Missouri; and his sisters, Thonda Burgard of Florida, Delea Hite (Bruce) of Nebraska, Michelle Stednitz of Nebraska and Lana Powers of California. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Hill Church of Nazarene (6909 Cornhusker Rd, Papillion, NE 68133).
