He was predeceased by: his father Tony Berentson. He is survived by: his mother Erna Berentson (Hunskor) of Maxbass; his wife Margaret Berentson (Ziegler); his son Matthew (Brie); his granddaughters, Frances and Jane of Port Orchard, Washington; his children, Aaron (Kharie) of Minot and Shani (Joe); his grandchildren, Luna, Leo and Loxley of Trinidad, Colorado.; his stepchildren, Adam Ziegler of Omaha, Nebraska, Sarah Ziegler of North Platte, Nebraska and Amy Ziegler of Lincoln, Nebraska.; his siblings, Terry Berentson (Marla) of Des Lacs, Kelly Berentson (Lori) of Westhope, Eddie Berentson (Kari) of Minot and Krystal Berentson (Jeff Bailey) of Pipestone, Minnesota; his mother-in-law Mildred Gardner of Lincoln, Nebraska; and his brother-in-law Dr. John Gardner of Terre Haute, Indiana.. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
