It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita A. Rome in Papillion, Nebraska, born in Atkinson, Nebraska, who passed away on December 23, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Troshynski and Elizabeth Troshynski; and her husband Edwin. She is survived by: her sister Lois Gutchewsky; and her children, Tom (Diana), Michele Foley (Frank), John (Cheri), Steve, Mary Jo, Mike (Julie), Jim (Kim) and Mark (Denise). She is also survived by step-grandchildren; 31 great and step-great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
