She was predeceased by: her husband Kent Askvig; and her brothers, Yoshisuke Yoshida and Kyoji Yoshida. She is survived by: her son Richard Askvig (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Andrew Van Horn, Celeste Askvig, Taryn Askvig and Emeric Askvig; and her brother Tatsuro Yoshida.
