He was predeceased by: his parents, Maldon Dawson and Phyllis Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Jeremiah "J. D.", Avery and Christopher Dawson (Kim Brill); his grandchildren, Elle, Avalynna, Joshua, Isabella, Liam and Finnigan; his brother Mark Dawson (Tammi); and his nieces and nephews, Matthew Dawson (Anna), Michael Dawson (Hannah) and Meghan Dawson. He is also survived by many friends, relatives.

Memorials will be directed by the family.
