He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Albert and Kathleen Luella Asmussen (Dean). He is survived by: his children, Mindy Saak (Rob) of Granger, IA, Shawn Asmussen of Peoria, AZ and Ashley Kissel (Eric Johnson) of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Mikayla Saak, Joshua Saak (Emma), Aleah Saak, Boston Kissel and Blake Kissel; and his siblings, Dr. Keith Asmussen (Dianna) of Encinitas, CA and Kathy Bussey (Tom) of Glenwood, IA.
