With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Elaine Knorr of Papillion, Nebraska, born in Humboldt, Nebraska, who passed away on January 22, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Sherburne and Doris Jean Ragsdale Sherburne (Dee); her parents-in-law, Erich and Geraldine Knorr; her sister-in-law Cheryl Sherburne; and her cousin Eric Nyquist.
She is survived by: her husband David Knorr of Papillion, NE; her children, Ann Hand (Don) of Papillion and Bradley Knorr (Andrea) of Easton, CT; her grandchildren, Nathanael, Jillian, Laurel Knorr of Easton, CT, Julianna, Alex and Kara Hand; her brother Kent Sherburne of Issaquah, WA; her siblings-in-law, Joan Nichols (Roger) of Lincoln, NE, Verna Louch (Glen) of Martell, NE and Don Knorr (Cathy) of Bassett, NE; and her aunt Rhea Nyquist (Jim). She is also survived by several cousins, many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be given in Kay's honor to Faith Lutheran Church, Humboldt Summer Backpack Program or Orphan Grain Train.
