He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther and Walter; and his stepmother Ethyl. He is survived by: his children, Steven (Cinda) and Jennifer Cordes (Brian); his grandchildren, Dylan, Garrett, Jessica, Jace, Blake and Jade; and his sisters, Bonnie, Cathy (Tilden) and Judy (Ed). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
