With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James J Schutz (Papillion, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Schutz and Velma Schutz; and his wife Myrna. He is survived by : his children, Jim Schutz (Jane), Terry Schutz, Susan Harycki (Dave), Deb Nosekabel (Jeff), Diane Kinney (Dale) and Mike Schutz (Judy); his sister Lila Day (Dick); and his grandchildren, Stacy Rosman, Amy Mach (Todd), Alison Gallagher (Micah), Adam Schutz (Ally), Danny Schutz (Jill Richards), Jamie Schutz (Shane King), Stephen Schutz, Mikah Hart (Preston Long), Jake Moore (Lindsay), David Kinney (Aundria Thorne), Scott Kinney (Sara), Mark Kinney (Jessica) and Rachel Kocol (Brian). He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Kahler-Dolce Mortuary (441 N Washington St, Papillion, NE 68046). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gerald's Lakeview Chapel (7857 Lakeview St, Ralston, NE 68127).
