He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Anderson and Dorothy Anderson (Stonequist); his siblings, Barbara, Corrine and Donald; his close friend Anne Starr; his children, Patrick Anderson (Sharon) and Pamela Stehlik (Steve); and his grandchildren, Sharmae', Jabez Anderson, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Owen and Brooklyn Stehlik. He was also cherished by 3 great grandchildren.

“Denny was uniquely Denny. A hospitable, sometimes a bit stubborn, loveable, do it right the first time type of guy. Myself, my son, son in law and friends were fortunate to hunt together with him at "deer camp", in the Sandhills. That was where Denny was in his element. He was so proud of having a ranch, old pickup, tractors and all the toys, available for all. He was comfortable and at peace there, as I am sure he is now. He touched the lives of every one of us. Rest in peace brother.”
