He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lawrance and Nora Ann Barney (Wilson); his siblings, Earl Barley and Pauline; his brother-in-law Fred Mares; and his son Earl Barney.
He is survived by: his wife Willa Mae Bals. He is also survived by five children, three in-laws, ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
