He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Nelson and Eldora Nelson (Johnson); his siblings, Marvin Nelson, Gerald Nelson and Janet Williams; and his son Robert Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Nelson; his children, Jack (Suzy) of Omaha and Julie (Steve) of Colorado; and his brothers, David (Margaret) of Maryland and Larry (Becky) of Ashby. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren children, other relatives and friends.
