She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor T. Matthies and Myrtle I. Matthies. She is survived by: her husband Francis J. Roy; her daughters, Cheryl Ross (Kevin), Debra Hoss and Colleen Roy; her grandchildren, Aaron Olsen (Arturo Roderiguez Carrillo), Tiffany Manos (Ted), Briana Haack (Christian) and Amber Nightser (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Tate Nightser and Charlotte Manos; and her brothers, Victor "Ted" Matthies (Marcia) and Donald Matthies. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Calendar Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (7706 S 96th St, La Vista, NE 68128). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
