He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Royal and Viola Royal (Kettelhut); his sister Marjorie; and his brother-in-law Orlin Moss. He is survived by: his wife Betty Royal of Leo's Catholic Church; his children, Kevin Royal, Kenneth Royal (Nancy) and Kimberly Hartwick (Chad); his grandchildren, Lauren, Jason (Ivy), Scott, Megan (Nick), Alex, Zach and Kris; his great grandchildren, Sterling, Payton, Isabella, Kahleesi, Breanna and Faith; and his brother Gerald Royal (Claretta). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Leo's Catholic Church (330 W 8th St, Palmyra, NE 68418). A rosary was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to St. Leo's Catholic Church or Palmyra Fire & Rescue Dept.
