With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gary G. McConnell of Palmyra, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Glenn "Hoot" and Wilma McConnell (Pulver); his wife Opal Buchholz; his granddaughter Shelby Sibal; and his brother Robert McConnell.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Kaufman (Kevin), Richard McConnell (June), Kim McConnell and Tracey Fischer (Roger); his stepchildren, Jonathan Starr (Amy), Tammy Ingwerson (Andrew) and Amanda Rabe (Dave); his grandchildren, Jason Franey (Virginia), Jared Franey, Joshua McConnell, Nicole Loberg (Jacob) and Kelsie McConnell; his stepchildren, Ryker, Gannon Starr, Maicee, Teagon Ingwerson and Morgan Able; and his siblings, Sandi Whitson, Susan Von Bergen (Jay) and Dennis McConnell (Rose). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials are suggested to the Capital Humane Society in Lincoln.
