Tibbetts of Palmer; his children, John Jr. (Nancy Forbes), Jill (Ron Schmidt) and Jeff Forbes of Wood River; and his grandchildren, Alexis Schmidt, Erin Schmidt, Toby (Naomi Forbes), David (Jessica Forbes), Danielle (Matt Buhrman) and Kaitlyn (Paul Tenski). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Palmer Fire Department, Palmer EMTs or to the family for later designation.
