She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Newlon and Theda Newlon (McCann); and her sister Vivian Newlon. She is survived by:, Gordon, Joan Smith of Wichita, KS, Richard, Ardith Hartford of Omaha and Marta Chilton of Dixon, NM.. She is also survived by her three cousins.
