With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roberta Ann Werkmeister of Palisade, Nebraska, who passed away on July 28, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Ruppert and Nellie Ruppert (Boson); her husband Raymond; her daughter Barbara Joy; her son-in-law Bill Wilson; her sister Norma Sorge; and her great grandchildren, Erik Werkmeister, Austin Herbert and Olivia Herbert.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Werkmeister (Janet) of McCook, NE, Shirley Ferguson (Dennis) of Palisade, NE, Melody Herbert of Chadron, NE and Terri Wilson of Palisade, NE; her brother Otis Ruppert of McCook, NE; her brother-in-law Roger Sorge (Phyllis) of Loveland, CO; her sisters, Viola Greenlee of Columbia, MO and Shirley Schlem (Larry) of Ogallala, NE; and her sisters-in-law, Lois Bennett, Arlene Werkmeister and Pat Werkmeister. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews.
Memorials contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made in her name to be designated at a later date.
