She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus V. Wells and Gladyce Wells (Bridgmon); her husband Richard Simants; her brother-in-law Lee Wurzer; and her stepfather Don Myers.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Richard and Dan; her children, Patricia Hanken (Gary) of McCook, NE, Richard Simants of Palisade, NE and Dan Simants (Heather) of Fairbanks, AK; her grandchildren, Josh Simants, Dennis Decker Jr. (Kristin), Randy Decker, James Baxter (Renee) and Rebecca Baxter; her great grandchildren, Trace Decker, Mia Decker, Khaliah Granillo, Elina Decker and Drew Baxter; and her siblings, Bob Wells (Marlane) and Carol Wurzer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
