He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie D. (Pete) and Pauline (Polly); his siblings, John (Shirley), Robert (Delores), Albert, Roger, Arline Richardson (Bill), Hazel, Bonnie Ferguson (Dean) and Shirley; his daughter Rose Mary Stritt; and his granddaughter Holly Shay Myers.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Rose Sayer of Hamlet, NE.; his sons, Chuck Myers (Kathy) of McCook, NE. and Virg Myers (Joanie) of Tribune, KS.; his son-in-law Jerry Stritt of Hayes, KS.; his grandchildren, Kristina Vigil (Mitch), Michelle Myers, Heather Myers, Haley Hoffman (Andy), Dustin Myers (Coriander), Ashley Holmes (Collin), Alisha Gipson (Dillon), Jessica Sanchez (Rob), Jerred Stritt and Rachel Stritt; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Myers and Sharlene Myers.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Don's memory has been suggested to the Hamlet Union Church, Hamlet, NE.
