He is survived by: his children, Brian Scott, Debra Doherty, William Doherty and Rodney Doherty (April); his grandchildren, Brian Doherty, Conor Doherty, Carlee Doherty, Alexandra Emerson (Doherty) and Riley Emerson (Doherty); his brother Rex Doherty; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Oberg.
