He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Stickel and Luise Stickel (Miller); his parents-in-law, Emma Geiger and Willy Geiger; and his sisters-in-law, Sigrid Penrose (Emery) and Annemarie Geiger.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Stickel of Oxford; his children, Christa Holen (Wes) of Oxford and Michael Stickel (Tara) of Elk Grove, California; his grandchild Lyndsey Flick (Matthew) of Folsom, California; his children, Blake Holen of Chicago, Illinois and Ashley Blesio (Matt) of Meadow Vista, California; his great grandchild Graham Michael Flick; his brothers, Walter Stickel (Esther) of Sacramento, California and Wilhelm Stickel (Ute) of Freudental, Germany; and his brother-in-law Alfred Geiger of Fair Oaks, California. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
