He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Aschoff and Leona Aschoff (Guenther); his son Fredrich; and his siblings, Mercedes (Bill Usey), Angie Aschoff, Rose Ann (Patrick Ryan), Elsie (Jerry Weis), Francis (Lucille Aschoff) and William Aschoff (Duane Hansen).
He is survived by: his wife Edith Pokorny of Atkinson; his children, Henry Aschoff (Gloria) of Norfolk, Molly Aschoff of Norfolk, Walter Aschoff (Michele) of Osmond, Benjamin Aschoff (Christy) of Osmond, Ruth Bloedorn (Dillon) of Wisner, Frank Aschoff of Osmond and Mary Nissen (Tim) of Hartington; the mother of his children Edith Aschoff (Pokorny) of Osmond; his siblings, Barbaralee Hansen of Renner, SD, Gerald Aschoff (Kay) of Madison, Darrell Thelen (Carol) of Norfolk and Steve Thelen (Bev) of Osmond; and his sister-in-law Glenda Aschoff of Norfolk.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Legion Post 326 or St. Mary's Catholic School, both were dear to Ron's heart.
