She was predeceased by: her parents, David Fickes and Helen Fickes (Meade); her brother Wayne Fickes; her siblings-in-law, Marlynn Fickes and Gary Purchase; and her pet Coco.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Arndt (Brandi) and Michelle Schmid (Dan); and her grandchildren, Samantha and Eli Schmid.
Donations will be distributed to St. Mark's Lutheran Church and Leyton Public Schools.
