With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Allen of Oshkosh, Nebraska, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Stromer and Helen Stromer (Holbrock); her former husband Bruce (Harold); her brother Darrell Stromer; and her daughter-in-law Becky Frye.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Thelander (Pat) of Oshkosh, Kathy Leach of Interior, Barry (Karen) of Ogallala and Jim Frye of Kearney. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oshkosh City Cemetery W 2nd (305 W 1st St, Oshkosh, NE 69154).
