He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Fredrick Traugott and Ruby Edla Pliefke (Carlson); and his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Evelyne Anderson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jean Pliefke (Anderson); his children, Sommer Harrison (Darvell) of Lincoln and Jesse Pliefke (Jennifer) of Osceola; his stepson Jeff Stevens (Jami) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Maliya, Mateja Harrison, Emilia Pliefke, Cora and Naomi Stevens; and his sister Kathryn Hilbers (Dennis) of Hooper. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
