He was predeceased by: his parents, Verner Johansen and Nellie Johansen (Boss); his wife Sally; his sister Margie Johansen Inness; his brother-in-law James Inness, Sr.; his nephew James Inness Jr.; his niece Cynthia Inness; and his son-in-law Nick Stas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nancy Stas of Billings, MT and Deborah Fugleberg (Hugh) of Elkhorn; and his sister-in-law Peg Coffin (Ron) of Shelby. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
