She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jaax and Lydia Jaax (Alt); her siblings, Phyllis Schlesinger (Lloyd) and Quentin Jaax (Theresa) of Shelby; and her brother-in-law Ross Braithwait.
She is survived by: her husband William D. Johansen of Osceola; her children, Kelley Johansen (Jo) of Columbus and Andy Johansen (Jane) of Columbus; and her sister Geraldine Braithwait of Schuyler. She is also survived by four granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Osceola.
