He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin E. Sr. Ransom and Mildred Fae Ransom (Miller); and his siblings, Maury Ransom, Marion Doremus, Margie McCarthy (Joe) and Valerie Holcomb (Chuck).
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jane Rodene of Osceola; his children, Joni Ransom of Grand Island and Jon Ransom (Melanie) of Hillsboro, Oregon; his granddaughter Kalen Ransom; his brother Greg Ransom of Henderson; his siblings-in-law, Charles Doremus of Colorado Springs and AnnEtte McCormick of Colorado Springs; and his aunt Darlene Jensen of Lincoln. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (531 S Polk St, Osceola, NE 68651). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
