She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Nielsen and Ruth Nielsen (Carlson) of Stromsburg; her son Murray; her grandson Jason; and her siblings, Milas, Marian, Morris and Clarence.
She is survived by: her husband Armand Schmoker of Osceola; her children, Byron Schmoker, Gaylen Schmoker (Deb) of Shelby, Morace Schmoker (Michelle) of Shelby and Ruth Ann McKeever (Chuck) of Sioux City, IA; her sister Phyllis Fusby (Dick) of Kearney; and her sister-in-law Jerlene Nielsen of Stromsburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
