With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Russell Berry Jr. of Osceola, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. James left this world on March 26, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Berry and Dolly Berry (Bowers); his sister Colleen; his brother-in-law Ted Vice; and his brothers, Miles Ruch, Dale Schultz, Gene Berry and JW Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Berry (Ried); and his children, Tammy Cox (Jordan) of Roy, Washington, Dan Berry of Lincoln, Nebraska, Sam Jones (Joey) of Benedict, Nebraska, Boone Berry of York, Nebraska and Eric Berry-Massey of York, Nebraska. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and six precious grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Evangelical Free Church (101 W 9th St, Stromsburg, NE 68666).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the family and will be designated at a later time.
