It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald I Peterson of Osceola, Nebraska, born in Stromsburg, Nebraska, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer "Lengthy" Peterson and Hilda Peterson (Roos); his sister Patricia Espinosa; and his great-niece Nicole Branting. He is survived by: his nephew David Birdzell (Lori) of Lincoln, NE; his niece Jocelyn Boruch of Osceola, NE; his daughter Brenda Janousek (Kevin) of McCook; and his granddaughter Bree Janousek. He is also survived by nine great-nieces and nephews.
