He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chas Preitauer and Jed Benson of Stamford; his siblings, Alli, Charlee, Jackson of Stamford and Henry of Stamford; his grandparents, Dean, RaLea Preitauer of Stamford, Joel and Alice Benson of Orleans; and his great-grandparents, Jack Graff of Orleans, Pat Graff of Orleans, Freda Allen of Lincoln, John Preitauer of Stamford, Gary Benson of Norfolk, Nebraska and Lilly Zobrist of Norfolk. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended relatives.
Due to health concerns, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Joseph's family sincerely encourages each person to make their decision whether to attend his service and visitation, based on the best interest of your health, and that of your community.
A memorial has been established in Joseph's honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
