He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Clarence and Viola Genevieve Witte (Karash); his brothers-in-law, Richard Ronnau and Jack Schmidt; his great-nephew Kieran Brennan; and his aunts and uncles, Jake, Charlie, Louis, Bud Karash, Alvin, Gilbert, Herbie, Roy, Art, Jerry, Ed Witte, Agnes Purvis, Esther Deaver, Irene Kubik, Vera Laughlin and Patty Young.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kenneth Witte of Orleans, David Witte (Pam) of Orleans, Vivian Botkin (Michael), Arlene Ronnau (Bob Rhoades) of Muncie, Indiana and Janice Schmidt of Hastings, Nebraska; and his nieces and nephews, Megan Hall (Nick), Ryan Witte, Emily Nardo (Matt), Drew Witte, Lyssa Witte, Chance Witte, Haley Witte, Bryce Witte (Larista), Brenda Brennan, Craig Botkin (Janet), Jeffrey Ronnau (Angie), Pamela Ronnau, Scott Ronnau (Barbara), Mark Schmidt (Steph) and Janelle Stormberg. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A memorial has been established in Jerome's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
