He is survived by: his sons, Harry Elva, Virgie Bell Simpson (Barker), Gary Elva, Donald Lawrence, James Allen and Douglas Gene; his wife Wilma; his son William Nelson; his significant other Willa Ralston; his brother Loyd Simpson (Marilyn); his sisters-in-law, Harriet Polk (Larry), Clyde Johnette (Lola), Francis Ehrke (Lawrence), Dortha Willey (Wilson), Helen Schiffermiller (Dean), Nelson Johnette, Royce Johnette (Elvera Payne) and John Johnette (Norma); his sons, Gary Simpson of Kearney, Don Simpson (Bonnie) of Orleans, Jim Simpson (Faye) of Norfolk and Doug Simpson (Patti) of Holdrege; and his grandchildren, Andy Simpson (Jody) of Omaha, Abby Pelster (Chris) of Lincoln, Lance Simpson of Lincoln, Jenna Thu (Brian) of Sioux Falls, Nathan Simpson of Atlanta, Nicholas Simpson of Denver, Danielle Peisiger (Josh) of Kearney, Dustin Simpson (Jenny) of Lincoln, April Harris (Sam) of Grand Island and Travis Skiles (Kristin) of Lincoln. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
