He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Lonowski and Rosalia Lonowski (Greenwalt); his wife Lorretta Woitaszewski; his children, Tony and Paulette; and his siblings, Evelyn Gappa, Lorraine Zelewski, Lawrence and Floyd Lonowski.

He is survived by: his children, Frank (Karen) of Loup City, Duane of Loup City, Ed of Loup City, Tim (Rosie) of Johnson Lake, Jean Kowalski (Ken) of Loup City, Carol Peters (Mark) of Grand Island and Arlene Mazankowski (Mike) of Columbus. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and many great-(great)-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to St. Josaphat's Catholic Church or Loup City EMT's.
