He was predeceased by: his parents, James Oetter and Lois Oetter; his in-laws, Less, Fern Farris and Gene Meyers; his father-in-law Stan Sanne; his stepson Jeremy Miller; and his great grandchild Lyllian Hovious.
He is survived by: his nephew Don; his friends, Oakdale, Tilden, Meadow, Elgin and Literally; his wife Jeri Sanne; his former wife Jeri Valenta (John); his daughter Samantha Oetter (Cody Duprey) of Pass Christian, MS.; his siblings, Ann Miller (Bill), Kathy Wollberg Melrose (Royce) of Wisconsin and Don Oetter (Jacque); his nephew Jeffrey Wollberg (Linda); his nieces, Amy Hamack (Derek) and Anna Simmons (Brian); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Blake, Kale, Aubree and Cam; his nieces, Stephanie Miller and Sarah Miller; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Haylee and Taylor; his close friend Frank; his grandchildren, Destiny Detlefsen, Gavin Gilsdorf, Pyper Ertz, Jacob Tabbert, Autumn Imus (Steven Frisch), Walker Robertson, Ashton Imus, Avery Imus, Porter, Karley, Kayla Roberston, Oakland Classen, Jeremy, Payton, Izaak, Meyer and River Mefferd; and his great grandchildren, Lakkin, Paxten and Aspen Matthies.
