It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elden Leroy Schacht of Orchard, Nebraska, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Schacht and Mildred Schacht (Menebroker); his wife Marian Moser of Peter's Lutheran Church; his in-laws, Cecil Moser and Leona Boies (Art); and his brothers-in-law, Doug Barton and Eugene Moser.

He is survived by: his children, Joan Schacht (Rob McCabe) of New York, NY, Kent Schacht (Lisa) of Orchard, Jill Hamilton (Keith) of Lincoln, NE and Jodi Gloe (Bill) of Garretson, SD.
