It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wesley Gray of Oneill, Nebraska, born in Lynch, Nebraska, who passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Gray (Mikkleson) and Scott Gray; his wife Irene Gray (Sammons); his sisters, Ruth Ann Fry, Abbie Westover, Betty Wemhoff and Beverly Miller; his brother-in-law Dennis DeBlauw; and his stepgreat-grandson Josh Fielder.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Charlotte Cabbage Delaney of Phillipsburg, KS and LeRoy Cabbage (Geri) of Garden City, KS; his stepgrandchildren, Mary Fielder (Mike), Jenny Reichard (Dave) and Wes Delaney (Ashley); his sister Margaret DeBlauw (Gray) of Hartington, NE; and his brothers-in-law, Elmer Sammons of Nebraska City, NE, Joe Westover of Ashby, NE, Mike Miller of Alamogordo, NM and David Wemhoff of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by four step-great grandchildren.
