He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Peter and Marie Peter (Sladek). He is survived by: his sister Marlene Hoch (Ron); his nieces and nephews, Craig Hoch, Andy Hoch, Beth Isakson and Laura Byrne of Minnesota; his sister Arlyss Lasecki (Robert); his nephew Aaron Rochholz; his niece Julia Rochholz of Illinois; and also, Jane Peter, Mike Peter (Deb), Dan Peter (Angie) and Steve Peter of Nebraska. He is also survived by many cousins, extended cousins, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to Marv's family for future designation.
