With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Maxine Farrier of Oneill, Nebraska, who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Maxine Farrier to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Gibson and Winnie Gibson (McClenahan); her children, Joan Pearson and Jim Farrier; and her brother Don Gibson.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy (Jerry Schmitz); and her grandchildren, Lori Carr, Matt Schmitz, Toby Pearson, Katie Burnham, Tyler Pearson, Lisa Farrier Fortner, Jessica Farrier and Justin Farrier. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
After retirement she worked part time for the Deadwood Chambers of Commerce, served on the Deadwood Planning and Zoning Board, the Lead-Deadwood Hospital Foundation Board, and served as President of the Lead-Deadwood Republican Women.
