He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schleusener and Eleanor Schleusener (Leimer); and his siblings, Marie Schleusener, Dorothy Schleusener, Velma Sivesind (Joe), Curt Schleusener (Janice) and Stuart Schleusener (Bonna Jane).
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jane of O'Neill; his daughters, Shari Mattern (Greg) of Sioux Falls, SD, Robin Stevens (Mike) of Lincoln, NE and Julie Beecroft (Gary) of Siren, WI; his grandchildren, Joshua Mattern (Stacie), Christopher Mattern (Jamie), Melanie Van Tol (Ryan), Angie Stevens (Nick Mortenson) and Amy Martin (Blaine); and his brother Merle Schleusener (Kay) of Bettendorf, IA. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
