He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Brookhouser and Rose Brookhouser (Sokol); his grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley and Colton; his former wife Patricia Brookhouser (Tomlinson); and his siblings, Ray Brookhouser, Lorrene Border and Leanore Bartos.
He is survived by: his children, James Brookhouser, Tom Brookhouser (Tammy), Don Webber (Jeff) and Lisa; his sisters, Donna Tusha and Anita Havlicek; and his grandchildren, Jeff McCoy, Joshua Brookhouser, Zachariah Rehak, Natasha Schaefer, Makenzie Barry, Kylie Michael, Tara Brookhouser, Zach Martin, Lynzi Martin, Sydni Tew, Kayla Totusek and Katelyn Meidinger. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brockhaus Funeral Home (824 Main St, Creighton, NE 68729). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
