Julia Lavonne Powell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Julia Lavonne Powell of Oneill, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 26, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Worley and Genevieve Worley (Cobler); and her spouse Raynold Powell. She is survived by: her children, Donna Koehler of O'Neill, NE, Guy Powell (Medea) of Creighton, NE, Sherry Babcock (James) of Winnetoon, NE, Starla Lerner of Stanton, NE and Emma Powell of Clearwater, NE.; her sister Jennie Schrage of Clearwater, NE; her sister-in-law Maxine Worley of Tilden, NE; her siblings, Albert, Ernest (Patricia), Glen, Johnny, Maxine Dow and Vivian Watson Schrage (Calvin Watson); her brother-in-law Cyril Schrage; her son-in-law Herman Koehler; and her close friend Eugene Armstrong. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 12 great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Snider Memorial Funeral Home - Clearwater (503 2nd St, Clearwater, NE 68756).
