It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gorman Edwin Foley of Oneill, Nebraska, born in Belleville, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William and Rose Ellen Foley (Creekmore); his siblings, Charles Foley, Deloris Pierce (Roy) and Geralee Elles (Harold Sr.); his son Dennis Foley; his wife Arlene Foley (Derby); his grandson Scott Goossen; and his son-in-law Jim Woerner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheryl Goossen (Andrew) of Pryor, OK, Becky Woerner of Hastings, NE and Debby Thieszen (Elroy) of O'Neill, NE. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
