With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Chohon of Oneill, Nebraska, who passed away on December 23, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Chohon and Mary Chohon (Zegar); his sister Elaine Tondu of Traverse City, MI; his former wife Helen Sock; and his wife Kaye Chohon.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Chohon (Becky) of Yukon, OK, Mark Chohon, Gene Chohon (Ellen), Pat Chohon (Patty) of O'Neill, Tom Chohon (Lisa) of Ainsworth, NE and Kelly Martin (Neil) of Wagner, SD; his stepchildren, Kim Kennedy (Joe) of Hastings, NE, Rhonda Reusink (Doug), Karla Colligan (Ray) of Norton, KS and Richard Scott of Thornton, CO; his brother Leonard Chohon (Louise) of Columbus, NE; and his grandchildren, Brock Chohon, Duke Chohon, Dustin Chohon, Eric Chohon, Clay Chohon, Hayes Chohon, Tyson Chohon, Aaron Chohon, Riley Chohon, Derek Martin, Jess Martin, Jamie Wheelahan, Britt Lorenz, Jenna Dvorak and Molly Krotter. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
